Each ml contains: florfenicol 100 mg.
A broad-spectrum antibiotic that has activity against many bacteria. It acts by binding to the 50S ribosome, thereby inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.
Prophylaxis and treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory tract infections caused by Actinobacillus spp, Pasteurella spp, Salmonella spp, and Streptococcus spp sensitive to florfenicol. The presence of the disease in the flock should be established before prophylactic treatment.
Poultry.
Oral use in drinking water.
Poultry: 1 litre per 1000 litres drinking water (10 mg/kg bw) for 3 days.
Chicken (meat and offal): 7 days.
Eggs: do not use in poultry producing eggs for human consumption.
